New Delhi (NVI): An underground cabling project at the Kumbh area in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, was today inaugurated by MoS Power and New & Renewable Energy, RK Singh, via video conferencing.
“The project is being implemented under the Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) and is commissioned by Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited,” Power Finance Corporation tweeted.
“The inauguration ceremony which is a part of ‘Bharat ka Amrut Mahotsav’ celebrations marks 75 years of India’s independence,” it added.
The project is implemented under the Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) and is commissioned by Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited.

Uttarakhand chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat was also virtually present during the inaugural ceremony.
Furthermore, the event was graced by Madan Kaushik, MLA, Haridwar, Radhika Jha, Secretary, Department of Energy and Renewable Energy, Uttarakhand, R.S. Dhillon, CMD-PFC Ltd (through VC) and Neeraj Khairwal, MD-UPCL along with officials from Govt of Uttarakhand and Ministry of Power.
