Srinagar, Nov 2 (NVI) : One unidentified terrorist was killed, and four security personnel were injured during an ongoing encounter between security forces and terrioists in the Khaniyar area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday morning.

A top police officer told NVI that one unidentified terrorist had been killed, and four security personnel were injured in Khanyar.

The incident began when a joint team of security forces intensified searches around a suspected location, leading to an exchange of gunfire as the hiding terrorist opened fire on the forces, triggering the gunfight.—(News Vibes of India)

Srinagar, Nov 02(NVI): Four security personnel were injured in a gunfight on Saturday in Khanyar area of Srinagar.

A top cop told News Vibes of India-(NVI) that four security personnel including two from the CRPF and two from the Special Operations Group (SOG) were injured however all are in stable condition.

Earlier the gunfight broke out between terrorists and security forces during a security operation aimed at locating terrorist in the area. (News Vibes Of India)

Srinagar, Nov02(NVI): A CRPF personnel sustained injuries during an ongoing encounter in the Khanyar area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district, officials said on Saturday.

A top official stated that the personnel was injured during an anti-terrorist operation in Khanyar and has been transferred to a hospital for treatment.

Two anti-terrorist operations are currently underway in Kashmir, including in Khanyar & Anantnag district.

In Anantnag, two militants have been killed, and operations continue in the other areas. (News Vibes of India)

Srinagar, Nov 02 (NVI) : Two unidentified Terrorists has been killed in an ongoing encounter between security forces and Terrorists in the Halkan area of South Kashmir Anantnag district on Saturday afternoon.

A top police officer told NVI that two unidentified terrioists has been killed by security forces in Anantnag, whose identity is yet to be ascertained.

As the joint team of forces intensified searches towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces triggering off a gunfight.

Army Personnel Succumbs to Gunshot Injuries in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov02(NVI): An army personnel on duty near Rawalpora Chowk in Srinagar district succumbed to injuries sustained from a gunshot wound, officials said on Saturday.

An official stated that the preliminary reports indicated that the weapon may have been accidentally discharged.

He said that the injured soldier was promptly transported to a hospital for medical treatment but did not survive.

“An investigation into the incident is underway,” the official added   (News Vibes of India)

Srinagar, Nov 02 (NVI) : An army personnel on duty near Rawalpora Chowk area of Srinagar district has sustained injuries from a gunshot wound, officials said on Saturday.

A top police officer told NVI said that preliminary reports suggests that the personnel may have accidentally discharged the weapon.

CASO underway in Bandipora after exchange of gunfire

Srinagar, Nov 02 (NVI): A search operation is underway in the Pannar area of Bandipora district on Saturday following gunfire between security forces and terrorists late Friday.

An official said that gunfire started in Pannar after troops spotted the suspicious movement in the area. “After being challenged, the terrorists opened fire and fled into the forest,” he said

The Army’s chinar Corps in a post on X said that “On 01 November late evening, suspicious movement was spotted, in general area Panar of Bandipora, by alert troops”

“On being challenged, terrorists opened indiscriminate fire and escaped into the jungle. Search Operation underway,” it said.   (News Vibes of India)

Srinagar, Nov 02 (NVI) : An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Khanyar area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday morning.

A top cop of police told NVI said that a joint team of security forces launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of terrorists in the area.

He said that as the joint teams approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon them which was retaliated to, triggering an encounter.

Two to three terrorists are believed to be trapped in the area.
