Srinagar, Nov 08(NVI): During the past few years life returned to normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir after over three decades of turmoil. Few months back the Centre filed a fresh affidavit in the Supreme Court claiming that Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing an “unprecedented era of peace, progress and prosperity” after the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.

The result is evident which could be seen by the unprecedented rush of tourists to the state. J&K has seen a remarkable growth in tourism and other business activities triggering a boom to the local economy which mostly thrives on tourism and agro based products.

Bandhs and hartals are now seen as a distant past. Resolute anti-terror actions have dismantled the terror eco-system which led to a significant drop in terror recruitment.
The government has come up to its commitment of crushing the terror modules and outfits.

In a recent public address, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reiterated that the terrorists and those aiding and sheltering them will face the consequences as part of the determined campaign to wipe out the scourge.
